Situated in the beautiful, malaria free Waterberg, Nkonka Bush Lodge offers a chance to relax and experience the diverse African environment and wildlife. Lying just 2-3 hours north of Johannesburg or Pretoria in the Limpopo Province, it offers a tranquil bushveld getaway. The small intimate nature of the camp allows personal attention to all our guests needs.

Accommodation at Nkonka Bush Lodge comprises of 4 double or twin-bedded en suite chalets. They are fully serviced and family rooms can be prepared. The chalets encircle the splash pool where guests can relax under the African sun. We are a fully catered lodge, serving early morning tea and coffee, midmorning brunch, afternoon tea or snacks and a 3 course sumptuous evening meal. All meals are enjoyed in the outside dining room and the evening meals around the fire under the star filled African skies. There is a separate lounge and bar with satellite television for guests to use at their leisure. Furthermore Nkonka offers internet access, laundry service, airport transfers and infant facilities.

Enjoy informative early morning and afternoon game drives or walks with our experienced and FGASA qualified guide. With abundant animal and bird life there is a lot for the novice and experienced bush lover to enjoy! The drives and walks are filled with both interesting aspects of fauna as well as the very diverse flora found within the area. We have a viewing hide where guests can relax and observe the wildlife.
Other activities that can be organised on request are – elephant back rides, 4x4 trails, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, abseiling, fishing and educational days out to museums, like the rhino museum and local points of interest.

At Nkonka one can spend their days filled with exciting activities or just relax at their leisure, and then end it off sipping sundowners on the deck watching another day in African pass!
