Aloe Rock Lodge is located in the Limpopo Province along the scenic Waterberg mountains 50 km west of the town Mokopane (Potgietersrus), on the edge of the Sterkrivier.

The self catering lodge is totally private, self contained and fully furnished.  It can accommodate eight adults comfortably. It has been built out of local materials, rock, wood and thatch and blends well with the surroundings.

Aloe Rock Lodge is named after a species of aloe, which only grows in this specific area. There is an abundance of trees (more than 200 species), wild birds and animals such as  Kudu, Bushbuck, Steenbuck, Klipspringer, Bushpig, Warthog, Baboons, Jackal and Rock Rabbits and it  is free and open to any exploring by 4x4, mountain bikes and on foot.  There are two dams to fish, the main dam large enough to put a Bass boat (electric motor). The smaller dam is only a walk away from the lodge. Both dams produce beautiful Bass. Kurper and Barbel. Bass fishing is strictly catch and release. Kurper and Barbel are free to take.

Our emphasis is on a small intimate group wishing to come and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the bushveld.
